Work From Home Arrives in UP: Noida's First Company to Roll Out Both Carpooling and WFH

Uttar Pradesh has seen a fresh milestone in the work-from-home movement. Talent Compliance India, based in Sector-136, Noida, has become the state's first company to formally implement both carpooling and work-from-home arrangements for its employees.

Speaking to Local18, company director Ashutosh said the company took this step in response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call to "save fuel and adopt shared commuting." He noted that given rising fuel consumption nationally and the challenges that lie ahead, every institution and citizen has a responsibility to do their part — it's the least the company felt it owed to the nation's interest.

The company employs more than 100 people, all of whom have been encouraged to take up carpooling. An official message was circulated among staff, urging them to opt for shared rides instead of private vehicles. According to the company, the impact was visible from day one, with most employees arriving at work via shared commutes.

Ashutosh added that when employees travel together, it doesn't just cut down on fuel costs — it also builds better coordination and a more friendly work atmosphere. The conversations during the commute strengthen team bonding, an experience that was rarely possible before.
