Talent India Group Employees in Noida Launch Carpooling

Rising petrol and diesel prices, driven in part by ongoing tension in the Middle East, have put a direct strain on household budgets across India. Against this backdrop, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal for fuel conservation has sparked a growing shift towards shared and alternative modes of commuting nationwide.

Taking this forward, employees at Talent Compliance India, part of the Talent India Group in Noida, have started carpooling to work. According to co-founder and director Ashutosh, employees previously commuted individually from the company's earlier Sector-2 office, spending anywhere between Rs 500–600 a day on travel. After the office relocated and following the PM's appeal, the team decided to start commuting together.

One employee shared that carpooling has brought a noticeable drop in commuting costs, while the shared rides have also made it easier to bond with colleagues and discuss work-related matters along the way. About 50% of the company's staff only need to travel to the office once a day and back, which made adopting carpooling straightforward.

According to the report, carpooling platforms in the Delhi-NCR region have already connected over 500 commuters, with rising fuel prices and traffic congestion making carpooling an increasingly practical choice — especially among office-goers. Experts believe that if more companies adopt this model, it could meaningfully cut fuel consumption while also contributing to environmental conservation.

Talent Compliance India's move shows how small institutional efforts can add up to a bigger impact at the national level, and the initiative could serve as an example for other companies across the NCR region.
