Role Overview

As a Data Analyst & Marketing Automation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Talent Compliance India’s growth strategy. You’ll be responsible for analysing market data, studying competitors, understanding customer behaviour, and leveraging automation tools to improve marketing efficiency, campaign performance, and lead conversion.

This is a cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of Data, Marketing, and Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Market & Industry Intelligence

  • Conduct ongoing industry research to identify emerging trends, policy shifts, and RegTech developments in India’s compliance and governance ecosystem.
  • Track competitors, products, features, pricing, market positioning, and customer engagement.
  • Maintain an internal Intelligence Dashboard updated with key metrics and insights.
  • Support leadership in identifying white spaces and new opportunities across industries or geographies.

Customer & Behavioural Insights

  • Analyse customer data, feedback, and usage patterns to understand pain points, churn triggers, and feature adoption.
  • Create detailed customer personas and segment audiences by company size, industry, and compliance maturity.
  • Support product and marketing teams with actionable insights to refine messaging, feature prioritization, and pricing.

Marketing Automation & Campaign Analytics

  • Design and manage automated marketing workflows (email, LinkedIn, and CRM-based) using MarTech tools.
  • Set up lead scoring models, nurture sequences, and trigger-based campaigns aligned with the buyer journey.
  • Measure campaign performance: track open rates, CTR, conversions, and ROI, and continuously optimize for better outcomes.
  • Work closely with sales teams to ensure marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) are effectively handed off and tracked.

Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Build dashboards and reports to track KPIs across marketing, sales, and customer engagement.
  • Identify growth opportunities using funnel analysis, attribution modeling, and performance trends.
  • Present data-backed insights to senior management with clear business recommendations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, market research, or marketing automation (preferably in SaaS, RegTech, or B2B tech).
  • Strong command of Excel / Google Sheets, Power BI or Tableau, and CRM / automation platforms (HubSpot, Zoho, or similar).
  • Working knowledge of SQL or basic data extraction tools is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of B2B marketing funnels, attribution models, and conversion optimization.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment.
